Karl Haigler, President. Karl has more than twenty-five years of experience in workforce development, human resources consulting and education and is a nationally-recognized expert in workplace and adult literacy.
In 2002, Karl founded Haigler Enterprises to provide workforce solutions to private, public and non-profit organizations. He has consulted with Fortune 500 and other companies nationally and internationally. His training background includes having taught more than 400 workplace professionals in the use of job profiling and job analysis techniques as the foundation for workplace initiatives.
In the public sector, Karl served at the U.S. Department of Education as Director of Adult Education and as Special Advisor to Governor Ray Mabus of Mississippi for literacy and workforce development. Karl has co-authored publications including The Bottom Line: Basic Skills in the Workplace, Workplace Literacy Training in Modernizing Manufacturing Environments, and Literacy Behind Prison Walls.
Karl has a B.A. in politics from Wake Forest University and an M.A. in politics from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Rae Nelson, Vice President. Rae has partnered with public and private organizations to develop workforce solutions for more than a decade. She also served at the White House as Associate Director for Education Policy and as Vice President/ Executive Director of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Center for Workforce Preparation.
Areas of expertise include training, competency model development, job profiling, strategic planning, workforce policy, best practices, instructional design, and communications.
Rae has a B.A. in English from Cornell University and an M.A. in Communications and Public Policy from The American University.
